Recording and Consent
Recording and Consent
Effective date: November 8, 2026
Product: MazKir
MazKir is designed to help users capture and review meetings. The person making a recording is responsible for ensuring the recording is lawful. Depending on the location of participants and the type of conversation, recording may require notice, consent from one participant, or consent from every participant. Employer rules, confidentiality duties, meeting-platform terms, and other restrictions may also apply.
Do not assume that being invited to a meeting, having access to a stream, or purchasing MazKir grants permission to record or distribute it. Do not use MazKir for secret or unlawful interception or unauthorized surveillance. MazKir is not intended to bypass DRM or other technological protections on films, television, or streaming services. MazKir does not provide legal advice or guarantee court admissibility of recordings.
If you are uncertain whether a recording is permitted, obtain appropriate permissions and seek qualified legal advice before recording. Questions about MazKir can be sent to support@mazkirs.com.
